Alchemy Merge is a scientific simulator with beautiful 2D graphics where players must combine elements to create new ones. The idea may not seem too original... until you discover that you can mix two or three elements in your experiments (usually this type of titles only let you play with two compounds at a time).
What is interesting is that recipes can have a scientific basis (a plant mixed with water results in algae) or resort to the field of ideas (for example, you can create a whale with a fish and a fountain). In other words, you can use culture, but also imagination.
