The Brotato Android app is a roguelite shooter with lighthearted 2D graphics. Our protagonist is a warrior potato who has set out on a mission to fight against the hordes of aliens apparently invading its planet.
A potato for each occasion
The first thing that stands out when you download Brotato for free is that you can freely switch your character before each game. Five different potatoes are available from the start: balanced, fighter, commando, mage, and engineer.
Each one has different abilities and attributes. But there's more: depending on the character chosen, you can equip it with different weapons, such as a magic wand, a taser, a shotgun, two wrenches, or your own hands.
Playing Brotato APK is very straightforward. We only have to move our character around the stage, as it automatically shoots or attacks enemies in range with the equipped weapon.
Each alien eliminated leaves behind a green item. It is important to collect these fragments, as they are the game's currency.
At the end of a wave, we will have to choose one of the four available upgrades and buy weapons and other improvements in the store. Our potato can be equipped with a total of six weapons per game. However, you have to balance your equipment between weapons and other power-ups, as the difficulty increases rapidly as you progress.
Overall, this is an excellent and very fun game that teaches us that appearances can be deceiving. And the best part is it is free and does not show any kind of advertisements.
