Check the integrity of the files by means of checksum

This utility, specifically developed to find Windows platforms, allows to check the integrity of the files by means of a checksum. It includes many algorithms to be used, among which you will be able to find CRC32, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256/224/384/512, WHIRLPOOL and RIPEMD-128/160/256/320.

It is possible to load and save results in various formats and includes color categorization of the status of the files. The size, the file attributes and the modification data can also be taken into account when it comes to performing the check.

It has support for Unicode, with the results being codified in UTF-8, and with support for the Windows XP visual styles. It is also worth highlighting its integration with Internet Explorer by means of Shell integration, that adds a contextual menu to your browsing to allow you to perform a hash about a specific amount of files or folders.

The checksum tools are more popular each day, mainly due to the increase of threats over Internet when working with files. Therefore, it is a good idea to have an application like FileVerifier++, capable of distinguishing the files that have been modified by means of the hash code.
