Strategic soccer game
Football Rivals is not an ordinary soccer game. Here we will not compete against other players in realistic simulators like FIFA or PES, but it relies on a mechanic based on strategy.
A social soccer game based on strategy
The first thing you'll have to do isjoin a team and from it compete to win as many trophies as possible. It is mainly based on training to improve your skills as a footballer and then be able to face other players with guarantees.
To be able to do this you have to meet a series of training milestones, dealing cards to your friends and against your opponents and thus be able to defeat them in penalty kicks and plundering their skills. You will also have to defend yourself from their attacks, parrying their shots. In the game it is essential to train to improve the skills of the footballer and build a career that is able to improve the level. As for the action, forget the soccer games of a lifetime: it is more reminiscent of a strategic card combat game.
This game is meant to be played socially, so at the beginning you will have to join one of the teams created. However, as you improve and excel, you will be able to create your own squad to be joined by your friends and other players who join the game or decide to change teams.
