Another social network that takes refuge in freedom
We have recently seen the appearance and promotion of different social networks that provide coverage for hate and extremist messages, fabrications, conspiracy theories, and false news under cover of freedom of expression. One prominent example is Parler and now GETTR.
A social network for the politically incorrect
We are talking about followers of political ideologies that are as extremist as they are regrettable, including those that welcome the Bolsonaro, Trump, Le Pen, and Abascal. And obviously not because they do not have the right to think and defend their ideas, which is not debatable, but because their messages are reprehensible. Here, you will find antivaccine, climate change deniers, terraplanists, conspiracy theorists, right-wing ultras, and some left-wing ultras (you know, extremes converge), homophobes, misogynists, racists... In short, the best among the best.
It works in a way that is quite reminiscent of Twitter, where users can post thoughts with multimedia content or links, use hashtags to group conversation topics, follow other users, and so on. Perfect if you like to put on tinfoil hats, but quite unnecessary if you are a normal person.
