Print on an HP printer from Android
Although printing is no longer such a big thing amongst users, HP is still one of the largest companies in this field and it does anything possible to remain in that position. For such purpose, it must make sure that modern Android devices are fully compatible with its printers.
For such purpose, it has developed an app called HP Print Service Plugin that includes all the drivers necessary to work with its different printer models and which is usually installed by default on Android devices. However, if your smartphone doesn't include this app or you need to update its APK, here you have it.
Main features
- Allows you to send almost anything to your HP printer from your Android very easily, whether you've got an HP OfficeJet, HP LaserJet, HP DesignJet, HP Photosmart, HP DeskJet or HP Envy.
- Easily print from phone apps such as Gmail, Gallery, Chome, Google Drive or many more.
- The printing will take place if both devices are connected to the same network, from a WiFi Direct connection or by means of a USB cable.
Finally, we have to add that for it to work correctly, before trying to print something out, we'll have to enable the corresponding option on our phone: Settings > Printing > HP Print Service Plugin > Enabled.
