Instant messaging and chats in 3D environments

Sometimes the different instant messaging applications can be rather monotonous, and the interaction between users is limited to sharing images, emoticons and chatting. That's why any new innovation like the one proposed by IMVU is welcome, a complete 3D environment in which we can interact with other avatars.

Chat with avatars

Once IMVU is open, we'll be able to access different rooms, each with a different environment: the beach, a party, nighttime, restaurant,... there are hundreds of places to visit in IMVU to get to know people. Once we are chatting with someone, our avatars will also be able to carry outactions like dancing, serving a tea or exaggerating with gestures what they are saying.

We'll also be able to earn virtual money in the world of IMVU, that we'll be able to spend on accessories, clothes or new hair styles for our avatars, to make them more attractive.

All in all, IMVU offers us an immersive experience in the instant messaging and chat world, creating an avatar that will represent us just like inSecond Life or Home for PlayStation 3.
