A different family tree
Kinsmap is a different family tree app. This is not the typical app to create family trees, but a new way to look at our family with a wider vision.
Interactive charts in a range of ancestry and descent provide a new perspective on your family history, and maps reveal your family's migrations.
To use it, the first thing to do is to have our family tree in GEDCOM format, available through our genealogy program. Then, we just have to load it into the application and let the system do its magic. In a matter of seconds, our tree will be transformed into a fan or circle graph that shows us ancestors and descendants in circular diagrams with a biography section, sources, zoom tool, and change of central person.
Also, this tool is complemented by a map of relatives, where we can see how they have migrated over the years. Additionally, it includes color codes to illustrate the distances between the birthplaces of different family members. A great app if we want to take our family tree to another level.
