Open-source software for HDR images

Luminance HDR is the name of this application, that has as a main focus to apply the HDR technique. It consists in creating photographs by merging different images that have been taken with different degrees of exposure. Thus were are talking about complex photographic creations that Luminance HDR will now offer the possibility to complete on your computer.

This software is compatible with various HDR formats like OpenEXR, Radiance RGBE, TIFF, RAW image formats and PFS. As well as the latter, it also offers compatibility with the JPEG, PNG, PPM and PBM LDR formats. It even offers the possibility to copy the EXIF data between images.
