This whole casual game thing appears to have gotten out of hand. An example of this is Mr. Slice, a game with an absurd and crazy premise where we will help our main character advance while slicing up everything in his path.

The game mechanic is the following: we have a certain Mr. Slice whom we will have to make grow by simply tapping the screen. Then he willrise straight up as high as possible and fall forward cutting up everything in his path. It hardly needs saying that there is no rhyme or reason to any of this, we are just moving around a setting that a mind with very abstract design criteria came up with. But, what does that matter
The more we cut and the better we know how to calculate the place where we will fall, the more points we will get. The goal is none other than to level up with the best score possible. We should add that the developers have taken great care to give the game realistic cutting sounds so that it is as relaxing as possible.
