Become the princess who rescues herself
Times are a changing, and even fairy tales are not what they used to be. The princess at the top of the tower is getting tired of waiting for her Prince Charming to save her. One fine day, when one of her pretenders is burned to death by the fiery breath of the dragon that imprisons her, the young damsel picks up a hammer that he dropped, and turns it into an attack weapon.

Escape from the tower
While the dragon is feasting on the bones of the prince, the princess starts to dig into the floor of her chamber, in order to gradually open up the hidden pathways of the tower. You will be able to use the hammer to displace blocks of soil that you will find to your left, right and under you, one by one.
You will also have to use the hammer to collect items and defeat enemies that you find on your way to freedom. All the while dodging the dragon's fire which is relentlessly hunting you down. But you and your princess can overcome it all.
Once Upon a Tower relates a magical setting, thanks to a fairytale soundtrack and some really nice minimal graphics, leaving room for some charming and extraordinary graphic design. This is a great game in every way.
A customized princess
As you progress through the game, you will unlock pets that will join you in your escape (like a cute hen), along with a bunch of feisty princesses, who will be very familiar to you. Slip into the skin of the one you like most, and get out of there!
