The Clubhouse of Spotify
As with other services offering online and streaming entertainment content, Spotify has reached maturity in several markets and attracting new users with its music catalog alone is becoming more and more complicated (note competition such as Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, YouTube Music, Deezer...). The Swedish company has been increasing its offer with podcasts for some time and now joins the Clubhouse-style chat rooms with Spotify Live.
Greenroom is now Spotify Live
Formerly called Greenroom, Live is a service that links to your Spotify user account if you have one and offers chat rooms to join that deal with thousands of topics. Explore the room offer and participate by joining the conversation, always moderated by a room administrator. Join and ask for your turn to participate or just listen to what other users have to say.
Of course, once inside the platform, you can also become a creator. Do you have something to say Then create your own room and tell anyone who is willing to listen to you. All very easy, thanks in part to a design that follows Spotify's guidelines for listening to music.
These are its main features:
- Join live conversations and participate or just listen.
- Find people talking about things you are interested in.
- Create your own rooms and be the leader of the conversation around the topic you like.
- Follow topics and get alerts for live rooms or add them to your calendar for scheduled conversations.
- Follow any creator.
