A Scattergories-like game on your cell phone

If you like word games (and you know some Portuguese), you will love StopotS, a classic among classics. This is a version of the classic Scattergories, also called Adedanha or Adedonha in Brazil, where you can have hours of fun coming up with words and improving your mental speed.

How do you play

As you probably know, in this game, the player has to think of words based on an assigned letter of the alphabet and different themes. This version is online so you can play against other users around the world. These are the steps to follow in each round:

Step 1: the game chooses a random letter of the alphabet and launches a theme (animals, names, celebrities, fictional characters, brands, cars, appliances, etc.).

Step 2: players fill in the boxes with the words that come to mind.

Step 3: the first to fill in all the blanks, stops the time.

Step 4: the players validate or reject each other's answers.

Step 5: then, the points for the round are counted: 0 points for invalid answer, 5 points for repeated answer, and 10 points for each unique answer.

Step 6: the player with the most points wins the round, of course.
